Vita
Laura studied Art History and Classical Archeology at the University of Milan, where she graduated with a thesis on meaning and function of sculptural reduplication in ancient Roman art. From 2015 to 2018 she was a graduate fellow at the NCCR eikones – Iconic Criticism at the University of Basel and from 2019 to 2020 a Predoctoral Fellow at the Bibliotheca Hertziana. Her PhD project explores the use of non-traditional materials in seventeenth century Italian painting. Since 2019, she is a Lecturer at the University of Zurich.
