Curriculum Vitae
Polina Voronova is a project collaborator at the DH Lab of Bibliotheca Hertziana, focusing on the web development of the project "Mapping Sacred Spaces - The Digital Archive Project."
After completing her studies in linguistics and lexicography at the University of Lorraine in France and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) in Germany, she worked at the Leibniz Institute for the German Language in Mannheim and the ATILF-CNRS in Nancy, France.
Through her work with large lexicographical datasets presented in text corpora – extracting terms, analyzing linguistic data, and using programming to create dictionary entries – she developed a keen interest in digital humanities and programming languages.
