Opening Hours & Admission
The Library and Photographic Collection are open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The entrance is at Via Gregoriana 30 and access is possible with a valid user ID card.
The Library and Photographic Collection will be closed on the following days:

Admission to the Collections of the Institute
Candidates must have at least a Ph.D. degree in History of Art or Architecture. In exceptional cases Ph.D. students can be granted temporary admission if they present a letter of recommendation from their academic supervisor and a brief summary of their research project (1 or 2 pages).
The ID card giving access to the library and the photo library can be requested only by e-mail to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org. The requested ID card will then be issued upon appointment.
Candidates must present:
- copy of their Ph.D. diploma
- letter of recommendation from a university, research institute, or academic supervisor on official letterhead
- completed admission form (see Online Download below)
- passport or ID card
- passport-sized photograph.
