Guided Tours

The Bibliotheca Hertziana — Max Planck Institute for Art History offers guided tours of Palazzo Zuccari and its contemporary building housing the library.

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the frescoes of Palazzo Zuccari, as well as the history of the Hertziana and the scientific research conducted by the institute. Each 45-minute tour is led by Hertziana researchers and may vary slightly in content. The tours are free and conducted in Italian.
