The Bibliotheca Hertziana - Max Planck Institute for Art History opens its doors to visitors and offers public guided tours of the palazzo Zuccari and the new library building. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the building complex next to the Spanish Steps, as well as the Institute's scientific work and research activities.
We count on the understanding of our guests that due to the continuous research activities some spaces may not be accessible. The visits will be conducted by the scientific staff and researchers of our institute and may vary in content and route.
The guided tours are free of charge and are held in Italian.
Registration is required.
** Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all guided tours have been suspended. We hope to publish new dates in the autumn of 2021. **
