Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship

The Feodor Lynen Fellowship Program of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation enables researchers with above-average qualifications from Germany to conduct research with members of the Humboldt Network around the world. With the research fellowship, you can carry out your personal research project abroad  in cooperation with a host of your choice from the Humboldt Network worldwide.

The directors of the Bibliotheca Hertziana - Prof. Dr. Tanja Michalsky and Prof. Dr. Tristan Weddigen - are available as academic hosts for art historians and scholars from similar disciplines. A Feodor Lynen Fellowship offers the opportunity to conduct a research project at the Bibliotheca Hertziana in Rome.

Postdocs may apply for a 6- to 24-month fellowship, experienced researchers for a 6- to 18-month fellowship that can be split into up to three stays over the course of three years.
