Studies Art history, Media studies and Italian at the Philipps University Marburg and the Università degli Studi di Napoli 'L'Orientale' and obtains his M.A. in 2009 with a thesis on ephemeral materials in Italian Arte povera; does an internship at the Pinakothek of Modern Art Munich where he contributes to the retrospective catalogue and edits the collected writings of Arnulf Rainer; subsequently moves to Berlin to work as a gallery assistent in the field of contemporary visual arts; from 2012 to 2015 he is employed in the department of scientific documentation at the Bildarchiv Foto Marburg first working on printed portraits and then on the archive's photographic heritage; since September 2015 employee in the Photographic Collection of the Bibliotheca Hertziana.
