Curriculum Vitae
Cecilia Goletti received her master's degree in Medieval Art History from Sapienza University of Rome in 2022, with a thesis entitled "Disiecta Membra from Southern Italy. Sculpture for liturgical furnishings in American and British collections" (supervisor: Prof. Manuela Gianandrea; co-supervisor: Dr. Elisabetta Scirocco). She is enrolled in the XXXVIII cycle of the Ph.D. program at the same university, where she also holds the position of cultrice della materia for Prof. Manuela Gianandrea's chair of Medieval Art History. Her research project is entitled: “The Medieval Sacred Space of the Cathedral of Sant'Agata de' Goti Between Survival and the Lost.” Between 2021 and 2022 she did a training internship at the Bibliotheca Hertziana, collaborating on the project "Mapping Sacred Spaces. Forms, Functions, and Aesthetics in Medieval Southern Italy". At the same Institute, in 2025 she was awarded the Ursula Nilgen Foundation Fellowship.
