Pablo Fasce is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the department of Prof. Dr. Tristan Weddigen. He completed his PhD in History in the National University of General San Martín (UNSAM), Argentina, in 2017. His dissertation, entilted El noroeste y la institucionalización de las artes en Argentina: tránsitos, diálogos y tensiones entre región y nación (1910–1955), is a study of the creation of museums and art academies in the nortwestern region of Argentina, as a part of a broather process of the institutional consolidation of the arts in the country. In 2021 he published the book based on his dissertation, entilted Del taller al altiplano. Museos y academias artísticas en el noroeste argentino. His current research project focuses on the diffusion of visual imaginaries about the Andean World during the tenure of the architect Martín Noel at the National Comission of Fine Arts in Argentina, between 1920 and 1930.
