Tanti auguri a Christoph Luitpold Frommel

Il 25 settembre 2023 Christoph Luitpold Frommel compie 90 anni. Le sue ricerche sull'architettura rinascimentale hanno rivoluzionato questo campo scientifico sia nella metodologia sia nella scelta dei soggetti. Originario di Heidelberg, ha conseguito il suo dottorato di ricerca a Monaco con Hans Sedlmayr. Sono seguiti anni formativi a Roma, prima come borsista poi come assistente di ricerca alla Bibliotheca Hertziana – Istituto Max Planck per la Storia dell'Arte. altro

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hermann Schlimme (1969–2023)

È con grande dolore che annunciamo l'improvvisa e inaspettata scomparsa di Hermann Schlimme, nostro stimato collega per tanti anni. Hermann Schlimme è stato collaboratore scientifico della Bibliotheca Hertziana dal 1998 al 2016. altro

2022 was marked by the devastating invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops. Millions of Ukrainians had to flee their country, among them many art scholars and artists. We immediately joined the #ScienceForUkraine initiative and welcomed five Ukrainian and two Russian art scholars threatened by the war. altro
